Shoban most recently served as a CG Supervisor
on
Terminator Salvation and Valkyrie
where he was responsible for more than 100 shots of wire removal, bg prep, Blue
screen compositing and fx shots involves smoke, fire enhancement, and CG rain
sequences with 10-15 member team. In addition, Shoban worked on I
am legend, Spiderman 3, Click and Ghost
Rider as digital effects supervisor in Imageworks India.
Shoban started his entertainment career in
1995 as a title
designer, his creative and technical skill set were
appreciated in some of the leading domestic visual effects
studios as a best visual effects artist.His experience includes in the broadcast
media, music videos, corporate films, advertising agency’s and feature
film industry as a digital artist and visual effects supervisor for the last
11yrs.
Some of his best credits are television promos for
Star TV Group, senior compositor for Lord of the
rings
(Return of the King) for applause entertainment and CG/ Digital effects Supervisor
in Imageworks India. He has been honored as a guest lecturer in leading institutes
in Chennai. In 2007 he was in the jury of FICCI BAF awards for the best visual
effects and animation category’s.
Sam
Senior Compositor
Samundeswari alias Sam, her recent achievement
was awarded in Imageworks India as a Best artist for the excellent challenging
works in Spiderman 3. In addition,
She worked as a senior compositor in I am legend,
her roles and responsibilities includes, team management, artist development
and co-ordinate between the roto, matchmove and junior compositors for the quality
output.
Sam stated her career in 2001 as a roto and paint artist. She graduated B.sc
visual communication from the college of fine arts in 2000. Her experience includes
in the television and feature film industry as a compositor and digital artist
for the last 8yrs. Some of her best credits include Compositor in
Lord of the rings (Return of the King), Graphic designer
for web hosting company, and Senior compositor in Imageworks India.
